Where to begin...

Apologies for not blogging for a long, long time, but every time I wanted to write something, the only thought I had was, where to begin?

Every month, every day, seemingly every minute, our world is changing more rapidly than perhaps ever. What do you say about all of this? Where do you begin? And more importantly, when will all this craziness come to an end?

I've mentioned this before, but oddly, with the shutdown and all that has transpired from it, I would not be "at peace" with all of it, if it weren't for my own personal turmoil that I just survived a breath and a heartbeat prior. When the world shut down, it was comforting to know that I wasn't the only one living in fear. But having been in fear of my life before, at that moment, the anxiety of the now paled in comparison to what I just survived. You shouldn't have to experience abuse, ridicule, and mockery to get to peace, but all of the muck and mire creates a brilliant sense of resilience that would not have happened, but for.

When I first became a born-again Christian November 2018, I naively thought that when that happens, your problems cease. To my chagrin, the moment you level up, you become a target for the enemy. His mission (as it always has been since the beginning of time) is to silence the voices of God's Children. The enemy doesn't want people to remember who we really are. All he wants to do is "dethrone" GOD - even though that feat is impossible. What is possible, however, is for God's Children to forget whose we are. The more we doubt and the more we rely on our man-level thinking, the less power we release. The less light we shine, the more darkness creeps - particularly, specifically, into the minds of men. (and when I say men, I clearly mean mankind - which includes women, obviously).

So, where do you begin? You begin NOW. Wherever you are, whenever you find yourself, stop procrastinating. Stop letting distraction shield your gaze from your mission. And what is your mission, you may ask? When you decide to accept it, our mission is always the same - to glorify GOD and help more of us remember how we made - in the image and likeness of HIM.

#Alleluia

May God continue to bless you,

Liz
